Dave Farrington, Jr. 18, of Jay Maine has been racing for 11 years. He is a first year student at the University of Maine-Orono majoring in mechanical engineering. Throughout his karting years he won 276 career feature victories and 21 Championships!! He is the all time feature winner at Oxford Plains Speedway and Richmond Karting Speedway (formerly Richmond Raceway Park) He traveled from Maine to Indiana and along the east coast down to Florida three times, including two trips to Daytona Beach for the Dirt World Championships where he finished 6th and 11th out of 250 entries in the division.
In 2009 Farrington posted a career best 2nd place finish at Wiscasset on June 20th. Farrington had seven tops 5's including a 5th at the Oktoberfest at LEE. Farrington finished 8th in points at Wiscasset in the Pro Stock division despite running a limited amount of races there. Dave also competed in 4 Pro All Stars Series events with a best finish of 13th at Beechridge.
